The Coves launches new branding

The Coves has launched its new corporate identity at the AGM on the 7th November 2020. Along with a new logo, we have adopted a new colour scheme.
Our website and social media platforms remind us that The Coves is an unusually diverse environment with something for everyone. Reflecting the feel of a working farm, while capturing the range of facilities, amenities and activities available to residents of The Coves in one logo is impossible. We chose instead a symbolic representation of the most visible, iconic and dominant feature of our landscape – the magnificent Magaliesberg mountains, the oldest permanent landmass on the planet and, today, the protected core of the Magaliesberg Biosphere Region.
The story of these mountains is one of captivating diversity. They separate the highveld grasslands to the south from the bushveld savannah to the north, in addition to boasting a unique montane biology of their own. The combination of these three environments results in an unmatched diversity of fauna and flora. The Magaliesberg is therefore an excellent metaphor for the diversity we have in The Coves.
Our view of the mountain is the cliff-faced southern aspect, while the north side features more gentle slopes. The distinctive profile of the mountain is the inspiration for our new logo. Our payoff line – Naturally Perfect – inspires our new colour scheme with a selection of natural, earthy colours. The simple, yet stylish design is complemented with crisp, clean and modern fonts.
In changing our corporate identity, we aim to reflect the fundamental nature of our estate with a look and feel that reflects stability, spaciousness, peacefulness and natural beauty.
