NATURALLY PERFECT
Freehold or full title is full ownership rights to the land, including any buildings. All homes in the estate are zoned as residential 1, which means that a single dwelling house, plus normal outbuildings may be built on the stand. Building plans are subject to the approval of council as well as the Estate Architectural Rules and Aesthetics Committee.
In The Coves all stands pay a levy. This covers the costs of running the Estate, including security and management. Maintenance of common areas, equipment and plant are also included.
Freehold stands owners are responsible for the maintenance of their own gardens and properties, the use of their water, their homeowners’ insurance as well as electricity and rates, in addition to the main levy.
The Freehold stands in The Coves are larger than the Sectional Title stands, ranging from 600m2 in Bass Cove to 3000m2 in Aero Cove.
